Dear Friends, Community Partners and fellow Golf Enthusiasts:

We would like you to join us for our 3rd Annual Schu's Golf Invitational which will be held at The Golf Club at Harbor Shores in Benton Harbor, Michigan on Monday, August 2nd, 2010.

If you thought last year was enjoyable, wait till this year! We are looking forward to another fun Invitational Tournament as The Golf Club at Harbor Shores officially opens this summer. Golfing legends Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Tom Watson, and Johnny Miller will be in Benton Harbor to play the Nicklaus Signature Course and film a golf event for the Golf Channel the week following Schu's Invitational.

Proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society. You will be served on course beverages and snacks, a deluxe traveling lunch and a winner's reception with heavy hors d'oeuvres, cocktails and awards in the "Schuler Family" style of hospitality provided by Schu's Grill and Bar.

Tee times start in the morning of August 2nd. Registration fees for singles are $225 and $800 for a foursome. The tournament will be played as a four person team "schamble" - it's similar to a scramble but with a twist. You will play your own game and record a score; all players tee off on each hole and then retrieve their tee shot and move to the position of the best drive for the team. From the position of the best drive, all players then play their own ball until they hole out. A gross score will be recorded for each player. The team score will be the total of two net best balls.

The event will be divided into competition for men, women and co-ed teams. Prizes will be awarded to the top teams. Plus there will also be plenty of opportunities for both men and women to win great prizes in special events such as closest to the pin, longest drive contests, longest putt contest, and a chance to win $25,000.00 for a Hole-in-One. The tournament will fill up early, so please return the enclosed registration form quickly to reserve your tee time.
